UAE Visa Application Process

Dubai Visa Application Process for Nigerians

Great News! The UAE visa is now open to all Nigerians — anyone can apply!

Many people are eager to understand how the UAE visa application works. Unfortunately, due to a lack of clear information, many applicants become confused or even fall victim to scams. Based on our experience, here’s the updated and complete guide on how to apply for a UAE visa from Nigeria:

Step-by-Step UAE Visa Application Process:

Note: Although the UAE visa is now open to Nigerians, like any visa process worldwide, approval is not 100% guaranteed. Final decisions are made by UAE immigration authorities.

Step 1: Start Your Application

Apply through a reliable travel agency like UAEVisa Nigeria or any trusted visa processing center of your choice.

Step 2: Visa Approval Types

Currently, UAE visa approvals for Nigerians come in two categories:

  1. Full Approval (eVisa)

    • This is a digital visa sent to you via email.

    • You can print it and travel without visiting the embassy.

  2. Initial Approval (Half Visa / Sticker Visa)

    • This requires biometric capture at the UAE Visa Center in Abuja.

    • Once your biometrics are completed, the visa will be physically stamped (sticker) into your passport.

Biometric Requirements at UAE Visa Center, Abuja:

  1. DVC/ACC Code (Document Verification Code/Application Control Code)

  2. Six (6) Months Bank Statement

  3. Return Flight Ticket

  4. Hotel Reservation

After successful biometric capture and document submission, your visa will be finalized and stamped into your passport.
